Dado Dado

Grandma Darla and Grandpa Larry bought
June dado blocks for Christmas. They're cool.
Grandma is demonstating dadoing for Junie.
Grandpa Larry's best action pose.

Gabby jumps in to stop the toppling blocks.

June finally gets the hang of it.
She's a quick study.

Christmas exchange

For the last couple of years, at the Morrison's, we have played a gift exchange game. Everyone brings an inexpensive, wrapped gift. Not knowing what you are going to get, you can open a new gift or steal an already opened gift from someone else. This continues until the last gift is opened. Sometimes, when there is a gift that more than one person wants, the stealing can go on and on. This year, both Elise and Stephanie wanted the black sheep, while Gabby wanted the Mr. Potato head. Since you can't steal directly from the person who just stole from you, a third person is required. Gabby ended up being the third person.

Another interesting twist to this years game was that somebody (hint: look left) forgot to bring their gifts to exchange. What ended up in the exchange was a meatball on a fork (pictured here) from dinner and a roll of toilet paper (hopefully Grandma and Grandpa had extra).

Creative wrapping part 2

John did his own experimenting with wrapping.

Horton preferred to wear his Christmas camouflage

John obliged Horton's request and used about
100 small pieces of wrapping paper and
about 2 million pieces of scotch tape.

Creative wrapping part 1

Jerry's inability to spell reared it's ugly head this year. Instead of putting names on the gifts he put pictures. He did show a talent for wrapping. June's gift was disguised as a ball. It was actually a...

BALL.

A Morrison Thanksgiving

Sean seems to have some sort of beard. I think it is the same head band that June is wearing.

June loved wearing Elise's headband.

Jerry and Donna, just hanging out.

June immediately took to Elise and wanted to sit with her much of the day.

The Pouts Have It

John missed out on Thanksgiving with the family this year. Instead, he spent Thanksgiving in Japan dining on tripe, cow tongue, and blow fish all of which he enjoyed. When asked about John's absence, his family's faces say it all.

Halloween 2008

June (the skunk) and Shyanne (the butterfly) on Halloween night.

I tried to get a good front view and back view of Junie's costume.
